32,000 pounds of pork and chorizo were recalled for false USDA inspection labels

A New Jersey-based food company is recalling tens of thousands of pounds of meat after federal officials discovered the products were sold with incorrect inspection markers.

According to the Thursday, Aug. 20, notification from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), Sabrositos Hondureños, LLC, located in Edison, N.J., has pulled back approximately 32,000 pounds of pork and chorizo items that were distributed to stores and restaurants nationwide.
