PETERSBURG, Ky. —
One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a truck went into a ravine on Thursday evening in Boone County.
According to dispatchers, the crash happened just after 7 p.m. along Lawrenceburg Ferry Road and involved a vehicle that had rolled over. Advertisement This content is imported from Twitter. Units with Petersburg and Hebron police departments, along with the Boone County Sheriff's Office, all responded to the scene. According to a police sergeant, two people were on a heavy duty work truck when it fell off the side of the road and into a ravine roughly 30 feet below the guardrail.
