WARREN — A judge denied bond Thursday for a 23-year-old man indicted in a shooting at a city convenience store that left a man dead.

Savion Woodall, of Warren, pleaded not guilty when he appeared before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Ronald Rice, who ordered him held without bail. He will appear back in court Wednesday.

County assistant prosecuting attorney Chris Becker highlighted the case against Woodall, including video from the Convenient Food Mart showing the incident.

Woodall faces one count of murder with a firearms specification in the Aug. 3 death of David Lee Owens III, 31, of Warren, who was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being shot outside the store at Elm Road and Larchmont Avenue.
