IRON MOUNTAIN — Upcoming events at the Dickinson County Library include:

— Solomonson Monthly Book Club: 2 to 2:45 p.m. today at the Solomonson Branch in Norway.

This month, the Norway Book Club will read “North Woods” by Daniel Mason. New members are always welcome.

— Fruit Tote Bag Painting: 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

Local artist Sarah Rice will conduct a tote bag painting class for adults and teens. She will show participants how to stamp tote bags with fruit to make cute designs.

— Bow Wows and Books: 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Solomonson Branch in Norway.

Patrons of all ages are invited to read to therapy dogs Azul and Belle. Time slots are limited to 15 minutes each. Registration is required — call 906-774-1218.
