A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is scheduled to return to U.S. 641/12th Street in Calloway County on Friday to complete final paving work.

According to a news release, the work will start at 4 a.m. and will continue during daytime hours. Up to this point the work was taking place at night.

Paving will focus on the turn lane and crosswalk areas along U.S. 641/12th Street between Tabard Drive and KY 80 in Murray. Drivers are asked to please use caution in the work zone and be on alert for flaggers, signs and message boards.

Paving is expected to be completed on Friday, with permanent striping to follow. The entire project is expected to be fully completed by next Friday, Aug. 29.
