(WJW) -- Beautiful and comfortable day Friday! Temperatures will climb into the low 80s during the afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds.

The weather for football games on Friday night will be very nice. Comfortable with temperatures falling from the 80s into the upper 70s at kickoff. Quiet and clear.

A weak line of showers/storms arrives Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

Early next week, a few lake-driven showers form as cooler fall-like air invades our area. Temperatures drop 10-15 degrees below average into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Temperatures overnight could dip into the 40s in some locations.

This cooler trend will continue all of next week and into Labor Day weekend!
