AUSTIN (KXAN) — It's a new school year for Lake Travis ISD but no new challenges, according to new Superintendent Curtis Null.
"I don't see really the new school year as a challenge. See it as an opportunity. You know, we have 11,000 students that will grace the doors of our buildings next week, and with each of them comes a story and a future, and we have an opportunity to shape that future, and there is some pressure that comes with that, because we want to make sure that every child feels special each day, receives everything that they need. But I know that we have the right staff to make that happen," Null said.
While some district leaders are concerned about enrollment and growth, Null sees it as a chance to take care of children who are enrolled.
