JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - In 2024, a deputy from the George County Sheriff’s Department lost his life in the line of duty during a traffic stop.

Deputy Jeremy Malone was sprayed with bullets from a weapon equipped with a Glock switch.

His tragic death helped push through legislation making the use of Glock switches against both state law and federal law.

Now, there’s another semi-automatic conversion device that is causing concern.
