Coronation Street star Sally Carman has opened up about her character Abi Webster's current storyline, which has seen her embark on an affair with her brother-in-law Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).

In the ITV soap, Abi is married to Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), but after meeting Carl for the first time in recent weeks, sparks flew between the pair, and she's since developed feelings for her brother-in-law.

The affair has left Abi questioning her future with Kevin. Recent scenes have seen her acknowledge that while she cares deeply for her husband, she is no longer in love with him.
