ANN ARBOR – Senior fullback Max Bredeson is one of the most respected players on Michigan’s roster.
During his first year as captain in 2024, teammates and coaches described the hard-nosed former walk-on quarterback as “the definition of a Michigan man,” “a tone-setter” and “the ultimate thumper.”
So when it came down to deciding who prized freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood would room with during preseason camp, it was a no-brainer.
Bredeson was eager to take Michigan’s projected starter behind center under his wing, and head coach Sherrone Moore quickly signed off on the pair rooming together through the preseason grind.
