Coronation Street fans are 'saying the same thing' as a Carl Webster appearance mystery deepens.

Those who have followed the drama on the cobbles of late will have seen that Carl made his first appearance on the cobbles after a minor collision in Frescho's car park with Abi Webster, who he then didn't know was his sister-in-law.

There was instantly a spark between the pair, with Carl asking to take Abi out for a drink, despite her making it clear she had a husband, who was also sick.

She turned him down and as she retold the story of the car breakdown to her family, she was shocked to see Carla arrive at the Bistro, with Kevin and Debbie excited to see their little brother.

Things have since progressed, while Abi tried to stay away from Carl, with her husband Kevin undergoing treatmen
