A STUDENT was rushed to hospital after being stung by a scorpion in a Zara changing room.

Alice Spies, 20, was trying on clothes when she felt something crawl up her leg before experiencing a sharp pain and sudden dizziness.

Emergency services were called to reports of the incident at around midday on August 20 after the architecture student saw the gargantuan yellow scorpion on her clothes and screamed for help.

Staff quickly performed first aid on the 20-year-old before putting her in a wheelchair until paramedics arrived at the store in Guara, Brazil .

Alice was then whisked off to hospital where she was treated for five hours and given fluids.
