FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - According to a new report from the Indiana Department of Education, bullying incidents in Hoosier schools are down.

The report says statewide bullying incidents from the 2024-25 school year are down 13% from the 2023-24 school year.

These bullying numbers are broken down into five different categories:

Incidents of Physical Bullying

Incidents of Verbal Bullying

Incidents of Social/Relational Bullying

Incidents of Written Communication/Electronic Bullying

Combination of Incidents (more than one type of bullying per incident)
