LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is dead, and two others are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Meade County involving a semi truck.
The Kentucky State Police said in a statement that they responded to a call of a crash in the 14000 block of US 60 at around 10:32 a.m. on Thursday, August 21.
Police say that a semi truck was driving eastbound on US 60 when the driver crossed the center line and hit a Ford F-150.
A passenger in the pickup truck, 80-year-old Jerry Ricketts, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of both the semi and the pickup truck were taken to UofL Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
