The first phase of the 2025 high school football season gets underway next week as teams begin their respective non-district schedules.

Time is of the essence, with schools afforded anywhere from two to four games before beginning district play. They'll look to make the most of the preseason before the games take on extra meaning, and in the meantime, there are still plenty of noteworthy ballgames throughout the local gridiron.
