BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – In a collaboration to highlight the benefits of working together, Bossier and Benton fire departments, along with Bossier Parish EMS recently completed a tag team skills training session.

The Bossier Fire Training Academy utilized this opportunity to teach recruits various skills essential for effective firefighting.

Taking on search and rescue, ventilation, proper use of ladders as well as emergency "mayday" drills.

Each department worked together as they would on any mutual aid call.

According to a social media post from Bossier City, the Bossier City Chief of Training Chief Schaub and Benton Fire Training Director Jason Maddox agreed that everyone benefits when we work together.
