Burglars attempted to enter a property on the Cambridgeshire border. The offenders attempted to enter a property in Heron Way, Royston on Wednesday (August 20) between 8.30am and 4pm.
As a result, the property’s front door was damaged. Hertfordshire Police is appealing for information into the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “It is reported that between 8.30am and 4pm on Wednesday, August 20, offenders have damaged the front door of a property on Heron Way in an attempt to enter.
“Reportedly, the paint work has been chipped in several places around the door frame and draught excluder, as well as orange spray paint on the footpath outside the property.”
