A petrol station in a Cambridgeshire town could be extended to add a new food area. MFG has proposed to extend the Morrisons petrol station in Elm High Road, Emneth , Wisbech .

The plans also propose to remove existing jet washes, raise the height of the PFS canopy, add new bin storage, and complete associated forecourt works. The proposals are part of the MFG’s group ongoing work to upgrade facilities across its portfolio of Morrisons petrol stations.

In a covering letter Carney Sweeney, writing on behalf of its clients MFG, says it is also taking the “opportunity to propose an extension to the existing kiosk/shop to provide an improved offer to visiting motorists”. The single-storey extension to the west of the building will offer a food-to-go (FTG) area if approved.
