Two people have been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a Cambridgeshire car wash. Emergency services were called to a car wash at the Peterborough services just before 10am on Friday (August 22).

A car had crashed into the car wash. A man and woman were taken to Peterborough Hospital for further treatment.

The East of England Ambulance Service and Magpas Air Ambulance were called to the scene. An ambulance spokesperson said: “Two ambulances, a paramedic car and the Magpas Air Ambulance were called to a road traffic collision at Peterborough Motorway Services Haddon this morning.

“One man and one woman were transported to Peterborough Hospital by road ambulance for further assessment and care.” Cambridgeshire Police were also called to the scene.
