EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) -- Euclid police are working to identify the driver caught on camera hitting a 14-year-old girl in a crosswalk then leaving the scene.
It happened just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the intersection of East 200th Street and Lakeshore Boulevard, according to a Friday Facebook post. • (Euclid Police Department) • (Euclid Police Department)
The girl suffered minor injuries, according to the post.
The car, whose license plate was not captured by the camera, is described as a gray Dodge Caliber.
Police are "actively investigating" and need the public's help identifying the driver or owner of the vehicle.
