Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raided the Maryland home of President Donald Trump's former national security adviser, John Bolton, on Friday.

According to local media, the procedure was carried out as part of a "high-profile national security investigation" involving classified documents.

The search warrant was issued by FBI Director Kash Patel, who shortly after the raid began, stated on his social media account X that "no one is above the law. FBI agents are on a mission." However, he did not provide further details.

Subsequently, US Attorney General Pamela Bondi pronounced on the aforementioned social network, quoting Patel's message. "The security of the United States is non-negotiable. Justice will be done. Always," he asserted.
