During the preseason, arguably the main storyline for the New York Giants has been rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. As he continues to dazzle and make a good case for himself, he received high praise from a former head coach.

After the Giants traded into the first round to select Dart, some felt he had an opportunity to compete for the starting job in training camp. However, that was quickly laid to rest when Brian Daboll named Russell Wilson the Giants' starter early in training camp.

While starting out the year under center isn't a possibility, Dart hasn't let it get to him. He has made the most of every opportunity to showcase his talents, showing New York they are in good hands with him long-term.
