The former Perrysburg superintendent will start his new job as CEO of the Ohio Schools Board Association on Sept. 1.

Scott Gerfen, deputy director of communication with OSBA, said the association does not publicize salaries.

“While we don’t disclose individual salaries outside of our legally required filings, we can assure you that all of our employees’ salaries are set through a board-led process and benchmarked against similar organizations to balance fairness with fiscal responsibility,” he said in a Thursday email.
