Our beautiful mom, Elayne Kwait, née Sacks, the daughter of Sylvia and Ezra Sacks, left our world in the early morning, Aug. 21, 2025, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by the love of her devoted family: her husband of 68 years, Robert Kwait; her son Todd (Carol); daughter Darcee (Randall) Cohen; granddaughters, Jenna (Andrew) Rabin, Carly (Tristan) Maidment and Maya Cohen; her grandsons Chad Cohen and Alec Kwait; her brother-in-law Lee (Gail) Kwait and her brother Gary (Lois) Saks.

She leaves an everlasting impact on countless nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors and business associates. She treated everybody as if they were the most important person in the world.
