Miranda Renee Wilcox (60), a payroll specialist at the Public Housing Agency in Eugene, has been found guilty of embezzling upwards of half a million dollars from Homes for Good.

Charged and pleading guilty to six counts of first-degree aggravated theft, 21 identity theft charges were dropped as part of a plea deal

A spokesperson for the Eugene Police Department reports that it was initially believed Wilcox had stolen $125,000, but after further investigation, the total was $560,000.

According to court records, the thefts from Homes for Good took place between April 2022 and September 2024.
