SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 11:38 a.m. 8/22/2025] Due to inclement weather, the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Kids Day Pickleball event has been postponed.

The rescheduled date for the free pickleball event is Friday, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club has added pickleball to the many activities it offers to young people in the Savannah community and they will try to get more kids involved with the game with a free Pickleball Day on Friday, August 22.

The event will be at the Chatham Racquet Club from 5-7 pm. There will be a pickleball skills competition as well as instruction, pizza and a bouncy house.

The Callen Club has recently added two pickleball courts at its downtown Savannah facility.
