Grey's Anatomy star Jessica Capshaw said she got "chills" over a comment Amanda Knox made during her recent interview with her.

Newsweek reached out to Knox's representative via email for comment on Friday.

Why It Matters

In 2007, Knox, then 20 years old, sparked an international frenzy when she was arrested and accused of murdering her roommate, Meredith Kercher, while on a study abroad program in Italy. The now-38-year-old spent nearly four years in an Italian prison before her conviction was overturned . She was exonerated of the crime in 2015.

Knox had falsely accused her boss, Patrick Lumumba, of Kercher's murder, and he spent two weeks in prison. She was later convicted of slander and received a three-year sentence.
