CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio --

Assault: Lee Road

At 1:35 a.m. Aug. 15, police were called to the bar known as The Social Room, 2261 Lee Road.

At the scene, a female bartender reported that she had been assaulted by a woman to whom she had refused to serve alcohol.

The victim said she was on her break when the woman approached her and asked what was her problem with her and why wouldn’t she serve her. The bartender told the suspect to go away because she was on her break.

The suspect became more upset, yelled at the bartender, then attacked her. The suspect punched the bartender, took her to the floor, continued to punch, and rammed her head against a metal table.
