The Department of Justice is expected to provide the first wave of Jeffrey Epstein documents to Congress on Friday.

These documents will be turned over to the House Oversight Committee, which on Aug. 5 issued a subpoena to the DOJ for files in the Epstein sex trafficking investigation, part of a probe that some legislators believe may show connections to President Donald Trump and ex-top officials.

According to the Associated Press, the House Oversight panel separately issued subpoenas to eight former law enforcement leaders and former Democratic President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
