A 50-year-old man in Wisconsin already serving dual life sentences for killing his girlfriend and her best friend — stabbing both to death when he " snapped" in a jealous rage because he saw them being intimate and felt " humiliated " — has been convicted of attacking a prison guard during his incarceration.
A jury in Brown County on Wednesday found Richard Sotka guilty on one count of felony battery by a prisoner following a one-day trial. Following the verdict, County Circuit Court Judge Beau Liegois added an additional three years to Sotka's sentence, to be served consecutive to his dual life sentences without parole.
