HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Longs man was charged with attempted murder after the victim told Horry County police that "he was jealous of something, but it was because [I] was buying Doritos and a jar of Tostitos cheese dip."

On Thursday, Deshun Michael Carter, 44, and the victim were at a gas station off Highway 9 in the Longs area, where the victim said he was buying some "late night snacks," according to an police report.

The victim told police that he does not know Carter outside of his job, but sees him at the store late at night when he buys his snacks. While attempting to check out, the victim said Carter had "an obvious problem and attitude with him."
