BEREA — Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said after the last full practice before the preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams that he expected the starters to play "between 20 to 25 plays." When asked about specific players, he said "everybody should expect to play."
That group, in theory, could include All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett .
If that happens, it would be the first time Garrett played in a preseason game in exactly six years. The last time was Aug. 23, 2019, when he played in the third (out of four) preseason game at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
Whether or not Stefanski actually has Garrett play in the game remains to be seen. The four-time All-Pro said Aug. 20 that he'd go if that was the plan.
