Coronation Street fans think they have 'rumbled' DS Lisa Swain's future as they try and work out the truth about DI Costello.

Viewers were no stranger to seeing the detective on the cobbles but her appearances were sporadic. The detective sergeant was first seen in 2021 when she led the police investigation into the assaults on Nina Lucas and Seb Franklin which led to the latter's death.

Fast foward to early last year (2024) and it was announced that actress Vicky Myers' role had been made permanent as she became a huge part of the missing Lauren Bolton storyline.

In the process, fans of the ITV soap saw Lisa growing closer to Carla Connor and towards the end of last year, the pair finally gave into their feelings for each other and the couple have since affectionatley become known
