BILLINGS, Mont. – A vibrant sunflower field in Billings West End is drawing visitors with its beauty and community spirit. What began as a small idea during the pandemic has blossomed into a popular attraction.

Aubrey Hopkins, the field's creator, who previously struggled with gardening, shared how the idea sprouted. "Before I had a very, very brown thumb. I couldn't get anything to live for the life of me," she said. The concept took root when she asked online, "What if I did some kind of sunflower field for Billings? That'd be kind of cool."

The response was overwhelmingly positive, leading to the creation of the sunflower field. "Since then, thousands of visitors have wandered through this field of sunshine," Hopkins said. The smiles on visitors' faces make it all worthwhile.
