CROW AGENCY, Mont. – The Crow Fair, a long-standing event in Crow Agency, has recently undergone significant changes. Known for its dance competitions, parades, rodeo, and vibrant cultural celebrations, the fair has now transitioned to a nonprofit status.

Organizers of the Crow Fair and the Tribal Executive Branch have officially switched the fair to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This change, after 106 years, is expected to bring new opportunities for grant funding. Organizers say the new status will involve more paperwork but will allow more of Montana to support cultural preservation through tax write-offs.
