As many folks are aware, the Sudbury Sports Hall of Fame has become a passion for yours truly in recent years. And while there remains much to be done – culminating, of course, with a physical home for a Hall of Fame – there are certainly some steps that can be taken in the interim.

With the Hall website now live ( www.sudburysportsfame.ca ) comes the task of populating all the very deserving inductees. With the help of esteemed local writer Laura Young (a fellow Star columnist), the work has begun: she started with the most current classes and is working backwards. at the same time, I am heading back to the launch of this initiative and moving forward.

Seemed straightforward enough – or so I thought.
