After being arrested in the small hours of Thursday morning, Lil Nas X will spend all weekend in jail awaiting a bail hearing on Monday, TMZ reports.

Lil Nas X was found roaming Ventura Boulevard in LA wearing only underwear and cowboy boots. The superstar was hospitalized for a possible overdose and arrested on suspicion of battery of a police officer after allegedly charging at cops.

Because the battery charge could become a felony, Lil Nas X can’t just pay a fine and leave. A judge has to set bail, and in Los Angeles’ busy court system, the soonest he could appear before the judge would be Monday.

Neither Lil Nas X nor his team has issued a statement about the incident.
