ANTRIM COUNTY — The Antrim County Sheriff’s Office announced that K9 Zeke will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.
Per an Aug. 22 news release, the vest — sponsored by Rickie Bingham of Altus, Oklahoma —will be embroidered with the message, “This gift of protection provided by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.” Delivery is expected within 10 weeks.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a nonprofit established in 2009 with the mission of providing protective vests and other assistance to dogs serving with law enforcement and related agencies across the country. Since its inception, the group has supplied more than 6,225 vests valued at $6.9 million to K9 officers in all 50 states, made possible through private and corporate dona
