The Sault Community Health Clinic will receive $807,000 in Ontario government funding to expand its clinic offerings and roster up to 1,950 new patients.
The clinic currently has 900 patients already rostered but the funding will allow them to grow capacity by hiring an additional registered nurse, registered practical nurse, receptionist and nurse practitioner.

The clinic currently has a nurse practitioner, social worker, registered nurse, support staff and executive director.
The clinic offers patient-centred, primary care services and works with social agencies to address all patient needs.
