The Belvidere Chamber of Commerce Leadership Group and Boone County Drug Prevention Coalition are hosting a family-friendly fundraiser.

The event is set for 1-4 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Boone County Museum of History, 314 S. State St., according to a community announcement.

The fundraiser will feature interactive games, activities and prize giveaways. Proceeds will support the Boone County Drug Prevention Coalition’s mission to promote a drug-free community through prevention education and outreach.

“This event is about bringing people together for a great cause while having fun,” a representative from the Belvidere Chamber Leadership Group said in the announcement. “We’re proud to partner with the Boone County Drug Prevention Coalition to make a real impact right here in our community.”
