CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Some celebrities will be in Charlotte for the seventh-annual Married 4 Life Walk.

Coach Martez Layton and Dr. Woodrina Layton, LPC are the founders.

Joining them from the groups “New Edition” and “Bell Biv DeVoe” are Ron DeVoe and platinum singer and actress Shamari DeVoe. The DeVoes are marriage ambassadors and vision partners.

The purpose of the two-mile walk is to encourage couples to connect and celebrate with other like-minded couples who are committed to stronger and healthier marriages.

Normally, the walk is in Atlanta. This is the first year they have brought it to Charlotte.

On top of the walk, there is a weekend full of events for couples.
