One person has been taken into custody in connection with multiple structure and vehicle fires in Sheshatshiu this morning.

People are being asked to avoid the area of Mackenzie Drive and Tshenish Street for the time being.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, however one person has since been taken into custody.

Residents can expect a heavy police presence as the investigation continues.
