The St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) is hoping to break ground in spring of 2026 as part of the second stage of its septic, washrooms, and drinking water revitalization project.
This work is supported by a four-year $82.2-million investment that Ontario Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming Stan Cho announced last month at the SLPC’s Mille Roches Beach.

The work will see the construction of drinking-water and wastewater connections made to the existing systems in the Township of South Stormont and Municipality of South Dundas. Thirty septic systems, two sewage lagoons, and 27 drinking water systems will be decommissioned.
