The upcoming tour featuring the original keyboardist for Blue Rodeo, Bob Wiseman, and the current one, Mike Boguski, came together quicker than most.

“Mike is a fan of my music, and he just called me in June and asked me if I had any shows coming up, because he’d like to see them. And I said, ‘You want to just do some shows together and we’ll call it Two Pianos, No Rodeo?’ He thought that was funny, and everybody else did,” Wiseman recalled over the phone Thursday.

“And so we just started booking some dates.”

One of those dates is Aug. 29 at the Hotel Wolfe Island. The show features each performer playing a 45-minute set.
