SHELBY COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple gunshots that damaged a rural church.

According to a Facebook post, the Old Home Baptist Church chapel and fellowship hall, located a short distance from FM 699, on County Road 3455, near Paxton, was shot multiple times sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Several of the shots penetrated the interior of both the chapel and fellowship hall.
