MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — With the theme “Local Community Impact,” the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties officially unveiled its 2026 fundraising drive Thursday, Aug. 22, at the annual Community Leaders’ Breakfast at the Mon Health Conference Center.
Sponsored by Mon Health for more than 30 years, the breakfast is a longstanding tradition that sets the stage for the fall campaign season. This year marks the 88th annual workplace campaign, one of the longest-running initiatives of its kind in the state.
