The Owen Sound Attack will open training camp, barring any last-minute changes, with 16 forwards, eight defencemen, and three goalies, who are either returning players or rookies who have signed standard player agreements.

General manager Dale DeGray said he still expects a healthy competition at training camp even if “there aren’t a lot of openings.”

“If we have free agents who prove they need to be there, well, then we need to keep them around,” he said
