LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Students at Guinn Middle School are being relocated to another campus after a power outage Friday morning, according to a letter sent to parents.
Principal Erin Rolfe told parents that the school is currently without power, and NV Energy crews are working to address the issue. Students will be relocated to Clark High School for the remainder of the school day.
Power is expected to be restored at 3:30 p.m., according to NV Energy, who also says the ongoing outage was caused by “damaged underground wires.”
Rolfe shared that any parents looking to pick up their students early or drop them off late will need to do so at Clark High School. Additionally, students who ride the bus will be taken directly from Clark High School to their regular bus stops. All other student
