Hurricane Erin is long gone, but her impact is expected to linger into the weekend. The storm may have moved out, but the risk of rip currents remains.

Three separate rescues were made at Cable Beach in Rye, New Hampshire, around noon on Friday. Lifeguards were assisted by Rye Fire Department personnel on Jet Skis.

"An open water swimmer was assisted to shore. A boogie boarder was caught in a riptide and assisted. The third rescue involved several boogie boarders caught in a riptide," Rye Fire Chief Mark Cotreau said. "All of the rescues were made without incident and no injuries."

All beaches in Rye are under a red flag warning due to the rough conditions, with the strong current expected throughout the weekend.
