Ron Davis is a busy, busy guy. That’s not editorializing, it’s just a fact.

Davis, who owns Butte Broadcasting Inc., along with his wife Shelly, wears many hats. Operating radio stations KBOW, KOPR, KGLM and KQRV, it comes with the territory.

He is KOPR’s morning radio announcer Monday through Friday. Weather updates are also part of the job. During the school year, you’ll find him in a press box giving a running commentary on KOPR or KBOW about a sporting event in real time.

Life is hectic for Davis, but even with all the responsibilities his position entails, he also makes time every weekday at 1 p.m. to host Partyline, one of the longest-running radio shows in the Northwest.
